Mill Creek Home Remodel
For this Mill Creek home remodel, Estate Homes preserved the Spanish Colonial style and the Old World grandeur of this home while bringing in contemporary elements to lighten and redefine the space to suit the family’s needs.
Throughout this Mill Creek house grand archways, wrought iron chandeliers and accents, and rich colored cabinetry create an amazing space. But, this home was in need of some updates. The family chose Estate Homes to do their Mill Creek home remodel, including kitchen and bath remodel. Designers at Estate Homes preserved the Spanish Colonial style and the Old World grandeur of this home while bringing in contemporary elements to lighten and redefine the space to suit the family’s needs.
The kitchen remodel of this Mill Creek home was one of the most impressive updates. Expanding the kitchen by removing a wall opened the space to fit a large island, the focal point of the kitchen, and allowed a better flow to the living room.
This kitchen features heavy woodwork and an archway over the sink which replicates design elements found throughout the house. The warm tones of the granite countertops contrast the dark cabinetry and bring a lighter and more modern feel to the space. The deco tile that runs along the backsplash ties into the warm tones of the countertops. And added touches like the niche behind the stove with the deco tile pattern, the custom desk fit with the same granite countertop, and the baking area designed specifically for this client who is an avid baker are what make this kitchen come together as a warm and inviting space, catered to this family’s desire to have their kitchen be their gathering place, the heart of their home.
The master bath features the dark wood cabinetry, replicating the dark wood found throughout the house and kitchen, but the blues and greens of the glass tiles and satin nickel finishes brighten the space and give a relaxing feel.
