2010 Master Builders Association Remodeling Excellence Award Winner

This 1950’s rambler with a daylight basement had been through several remodels over the years without any of them taking into account the overall design and functionality of the home.  The owners are now empty nesters and decided it was time for a master plan and complete update that would serve them for years to come.  By removing interior walls that block off the views and adding 143-sqaure feet [Photo #1] the house was transformed into an inviting place to both entertain and relax while enjoying the magnificent views.  With an aging-in-place design this home was now ready to give back to the owners into their retirement years.
